WARRANTY

Warranty, in writing, for the project you hired

Workmanship terms are agreed job by job. Manufacturer warranties — on composite boards, fiber cement finishes, shingles, windows — belong to those manufacturers and we hand you their paperwork at close-out.

Two different promises

Our workmanship agreement covers the installation we performed: the flashing we set, the posts we dug, the coating we applied in the conditions we required. The term is in your contract.

A Trex, TimberTech, James Hardie, shingle or window warranty covers that product on the manufacturer’s terms. We register what they require us to register. We do not rewrite their exclusions.

If something fails, call the project manager who ran the job. Do not start with a new contractor and a theory. We would rather see it.

What you get at close-out

Keep this packet. It is what a future buyer or a manufacturer will ask for:

  • The signed scope and the final itemized price
  • Manufacturer paperwork and any registration we filed for you
  • Product names and colors, so the next repair can match
  • Photos of what was behind the wall or under the roof
  • The workmanship term, in writing, with the project manager’s name

What shortens a warranty faster than anything

01

Debris left in the valleys

Fir needles and moss hold water against a roof and in every horizontal siding seam. A yearly rinse is not a service plan we are selling you; it is the thing that keeps the material at its rated life.

02

A coat applied too early

Paint or stain over a damp board is the most common finish failure here. It is also why we move a start date instead of working into a forecast.

03

Someone else opening the assembly

A satellite mount or a new vent cut through flashing after we leave is outside what we installed. Call us first and we will tell you where it can go.

Questions

Before you call

Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We visit, measure and talk through the goal, then send a written itemized estimate. No obligation. We respond to estimate requests within one business day.
How does pricing work?
Fixed price. Once the scope and materials are agreed, the number in the estimate is the number, not a cost-plus tab that moves every week.
Do you handle permits?
Permitting is typically handled by the homeowner. We walk you through what your city asks for so the inspection is not a surprise.
Do you have your own crews for every trade?
We coordinate a trusted network of licensed subcontractors under one project manager. You deal with one point of contact, not a different company for every trade.
What warranty do you offer?
Workmanship terms are agreed for each project, and manufacturer warranties pass through on their own paperwork. We go over both before work starts. We do not publish a blanket lifetime promise.
