One exterior contractor, from the estimate to the walkthrough
GetHomeFix Remodeling plans and builds exterior projects for homes and low-rise buildings across Mercer Island, Bellevue, Kirkland, Sammamish, Redmond, Issaquah and Newcastle.
What we actually do
We are an exterior contractor. Decks, fences, siding, roofs, windows, doors and paint. Stucco when the wall is stucco and the barrier behind it is part of the repair. We do not pretend to be a kitchen remodeler who also owns a nail gun.
The legal entity on the paperwork is Caravan Construction Co, at 19125 North Creek Pkwy, Ste 120, Bothell, WA 98011. The name on the work is GetHomeFix Remodeling. The license number will be printed here as soon as you want it public — until then the footer says it is available on request, which is also how the field crews answer the question.
How the work is staffed
You get one project manager. The trades themselves are a network of licensed subcontractors we schedule and stand behind. That is different from a company that claims every carpenter is on its own payroll, and it is the model we will actually describe to you at the kitchen table.
The estimate is fixed and written. Once the scope and the materials are agreed, the price does not drift into cost-plus. If we open a wall and find something neither of us knew about, we stop and price it before we continue.

We will talk you out of work
A stain on a soft deck or new siding over a wet wall is money we would rather not take. The inspection pages exist for exactly that call.

Before you call
Is the estimate really free?
Yes. We visit, measure and talk through the goal, then send a written itemized estimate. No obligation. We respond to estimate requests within one business day.
How does pricing work?
Fixed price. Once the scope and materials are agreed, the number in the estimate is the number, not a cost-plus tab that moves every week.
Do you handle permits?
Permitting is typically handled by the homeowner. We walk you through what your city asks for so the inspection is not a surprise.
Do you have your own crews for every trade?
We coordinate a trusted network of licensed subcontractors under one project manager. You deal with one point of contact, not a different company for every trade.
What warranty do you offer?
Workmanship terms are agreed for each project, and manufacturer warranties pass through on their own paperwork. We go over both before work starts. We do not publish a blanket lifetime promise.
