Siding Repair
Siding repair is worth it when the damage is local: a cracked Hardie plank, a few soft cedar courses at a deck ledger, a corner a ladder took out. We cut back to dry material, fix the flashing that caused it, and weave in boards that belong on the wall. If the repair keeps growing, we stop and price a re-side.

Details that change the result
Match is a best effort
Discontinued vinyl and faded Hardie colors will not be invisible. We show a sample before we proceed.
Paint after the patch
A repair on a wall you are about to repaint should be sequenced with the painters. We do that under one estimate when both are in scope.

Can you patch James Hardie?
Yes. We replace full courses where we can, because a short patch in a long lap line shows. ColorPlus can be touched up; a perfect factory match on an old wall is not always possible.
What if you find rot behind it?
We stop, show you, and price the sheathing and wrap before we close the wall. You will not get a surprise change-order after the siding is back on.
Is repair cheaper than replacement?
For a bay or a corner, yes. For three elevations of tired siding, the repair hours add up past a re-side. We will show the math.
