Fence Repair

Most fence calls are one leaning bay, a gate that scrapes, or a post that finally rotted at the soil line. We repair wood, vinyl and metal in place when the rest of the run is sound, and we will tell you when patching is more expensive than a new section. The goal is a fence that looks like one fence again.

Included in this scope

  • Post replacement without rebuilding a sound run
  • Gate resets: hinges, latches, sag and drag
  • Panel and picket replacement matched to the existing fence
  • Storm and fallen-tree damage, scoped after we see it
  • A straight answer when the whole line should come out

Details that change the result

01

Match the bay you have

A new cedar board in an old run sticks out. We weather or stain the repair, and we reuse sound rails when they are still straight.

02

One post is often three

The post you noticed is wet because the grade holds water. We check the neighbors in that bay before we set a single new post in the same hole.

03

Repair versus replace

If more than a few posts are soft, a new fence is the cheaper five-year decision. We price both.

Questions

Before you call

Can you match my old cedar fence?
Close, not invisible on day one. New cedar is brighter. A stain pulls it together, and a full bay replacement looks better than one new board in a gray field.
Do you repair vinyl that cracked?
Yes, when the profile is still made. If the line is discontinued, we replace the bay with the closest current profile and show you the difference before we order.
How fast can you get to a leaning fence?
A fence in the sidewalk or on a neighbor’s yard moves to the front of the list. Send a photo with the form and we will tell you if it is a repair visit or a rebuild.
